How does the NFC feature work?Updated 2 months ago

We feel it is important to fully inform our customers about the features and limitations of our Gard Pro smartwatches, especially when it comes to payment functionalities.

Current Payment Options: Currently, it is not possible to make payments with our Gard Pro smartwatches. This is because the Gard Pro Health 2/2+ and the Ultra 1 do not support NFC functionality. NFC (Near Field Communication) is a technology required for contactless payments via smartwatches.

Gard Pro Ultra 2+: Although the Gard Pro Ultra 2+ does have NFC functionality, it is specifically designed for security and access cards. This means it does not support payments via NFC.

How do I enable my NFC?

The NFC functionality on the Ultra 2+ is indeed always enabled by default, for specific functions such as access control.

Unlike other functions that require user activation, NFC usually works in the background without the need for explicit user intervention.

So if you want to pair the Ultra 2+ with an access door, but you don't see an option to enable it in the settings or app, that's because it's already enabled and ready to use when you need it. It works exactly the same as you would otherwise add the "access pass" to the access door.
